Due to expansion, we’re looking to bring in an experienced Gas Service Enginer to join our already successful team. Working in both Commercial and Domestic areas, the successful candidate will form part of a stong 7 person Engineer team along with the Service Manager and be expected to be largly self sufficient in managing their own time and customers. Majority of work will be within the Commercial sector with such industries as schools, care homes, churches, hotels and stately homes being a high volume of contracts, although there will always be some Domestic work as part of the role.
Your background
- Should have previous experience within a similar role
- Should be qualified in commercial & domestic natural gas, LPG & oil
- Holding certification in any additional field, i.e. Part P, COMCAT, F-GAS, etc would be advantageous
- Hold current CSCS card
- Hold DBS dated within 3 years, or be willing for a DBS check to be carried out
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must hold full valid UK drivers licence (max. 3 points)
- Must be fit and healthy to carry out a wide range of physical activities
Certifications required
- Commercial natural gas: CDGA1, CORT1, CIGA1, CODNC01, ICPN1, TPCP1 / 1A
- Domestic natural gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1
- LPG: CONGL1PD
- Oil: OFTEC 101, 105E, 600a
- Plumbing/Heating: HWSS (incl. G3)

- £38k – £45k pa, negotiable depending on experience and certification
